Every species has its character

When solid wood or stain is in the picture, the choice of species becomes an aesthetic and tactile decision. Here are the species we work with.

Maple

Light wood, fine and even grain. The most used in Quebec cabinetry. Takes stains and lacquers beautifully — clean and contemporary result.

Oak

Pronounced and distinctive grain. Warm, robust, timeless. Associated with rustic or industrial kitchens, but equally stunning in a clean contemporary style.

Cherry

Natural rosy tone that deepens over time. Silky and luxurious grain. Very popular for traditional and classic kitchens in Quebec.

Walnut

Dark, rich and sophisticated wood. Straight or slightly wavy grain. Reserved for high-end projects — makes a strong statement in any room.

Ultra high-end

Ash

Open and textured grain, very on-trend right now. Natural and organic look, ideal for Scandinavian or hygge kitchens.
